President Demetris Christofias will reportedly be inviting the island’s political parties to discuss the state of the economy ahead of upcoming negotiations with the Troika delegation.

AKEL deputy parliamentary speaker Stavros Evagorou told the CyBC earlier today that the meeting would probably be held sometime between this weekend’s ECOFIN Council meeting and the president’s expected departure to New York on the 22nd of this month.

Evagorou went on to say even though the Troika had submitted a draft proposal of measures, nothing was as of yet codified ahead of upcoming negotiations with the delegation.
