The Big Fight for “The Flash” Chris Evangelou is finally with us. The Flash will be boxing for the vacant Southern Area Title at Alexandra Palace this Saturday the 8th September.
The unbeaten British born Cypriot will face Danny “Cassius” Connor in this mouth watering contest over ten rounds in front of his home crowd just a stone’s throw from his home.
The Flash attended the massive media event at his promoter’s Matchroom Sports headquarters this week unveiling the New Era of British boxing talent, numbered amongst boxers such as Carl Froch and Kell Brook. Chris is considered by promoter Eddie Hearn to be a part of a new exciting new era in British boxing and with Matchroom’s partnership with Sky Sports, Chris is expecting to be very busy in the coming year.
He was also a special guest on the Steve Bunce Boxing Show on BBC Radio London this week and following his very successful return from his training camp in Las Vegas, The Flash is at the forefront of the Boxing world in Britain at this time.
