The Cypriot Paralympic athlete for short distances, Antonis Aresti, competed last night Sunday  in the 200m final race in the Paralympic Games in London where he came fourth with a time of 22.40 seconds. The winner with a time of 22.04 seconds was Brazilian Yohansson Nascimento.

Aresti had finished first in the Men’s 100m semifinals on Friday with 22.43 minutes to qualify for the finals.

Four years ago in Beijing he won a silver medal in the 200m and 400m in T46 race.

During the London Paralympic Games Aresti will also be competing in the 100m and 400m races, targeting three medals.
