Van Persie stops off for haircut in Potters Bar before heading north to sign for Manchester United

OBVIOUSLY Robin Van Persie wanted to look good before signing for Manchester United, so much so that he stopped by at his favourite Potters Bar hair salon for a trim.

Dutchman RVP, 29, can be seen sporting his smart new crop, sitting next to a beaming United boss Sir Alex Ferguson putting pen to paper on his new four-year contract, in a photo released by the club.

The hairdo was done at Kaos Hair Designers, in Darkes Lane, last week (Thursday) before continuing his journey north.

The Salon is owned by Cypriot Phil Georgia.
