Pavlos Kontides is doing well at the moment in his second Olympics. Pavlos is representing Cyprus in the sailing laser category and is currently in first position after the third day and six races down in Weymouth, Dorset.
He finished 9th and 4th in Monday’s two races, first in Tuesday’s two races and yesterday came 2nd and 4th to end the day leading first in the standings.
Pavlos is currently ranked eleventh in the World finishing 5th in the world cup and won two silver medals one in Miami and one in Weymouth where the Olympic Games are being held.
