The Central Councils of the World Federation for Overseas Cypriots (POMAK) and of the International Coordinating Committee “Justice for Cyprus” (PSEKA) meet here this week to discuss issues that concern them.

The 6th International Conference of the World Organisation for Young Overseas Cypriots (NEPOMAK) is also meeting in Nicosia this week.

The meetings will be held between August 28-31.

The opening ceremony will be addressed by President Demetris Christofias. Delegates will be welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis.

President of the House of Representatives Yiannakis Omirou and the Archbishop of the Church of Cyprus Chrysostomos will also address the opening ceremony.

POMAK and NEPOMAK Presidents Haris Sophoclides and Christos Karaolis respectively, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Kostas Tsiaras, and Chairman of the Youth Board of Cyprus Andreas Vyras will address the event. President of PSEKA Philip Christopher will be represented by PSEKA Alternate President, Tasos Zambas.
