Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was at Barnet’s Underhill Stadium as a young Gunners side got their NextGen Series competition off to a 3-0 victory against Marseille.

Nico Yennaris opened the scoring for Arsenal after only nine minutes and soon after Chuba Akpom fired in their second following good work from Serge Gnabry. Arsenal dominated possession and were well worth their lead going into the break.

After half-time, the Gunners continued to press well but lacked the composure in front of goal which was evident in the first half.

However, seven minutes from time, Akpom took his chance to grab his second of the game and ensure Arsenal got the three points on their NextGen debut.
