18 year old Cyprus’ Chrystalleni Trikomiti failed to qualify for the finals of the rhythmic gymnastics at the Olympic games in London yesterday Friday.
She competed Friday in the clubs and ribbons section of the event and had gone in in 17th place.
Despite hauling herself up to 14th place, she failed to get into the top 10 for qualification.
Christalleni broke into the international gymnastic scene at the 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi winning two gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals.
