The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds Cypriots that they are advised against all travel to Syria in view of the deteriorating security situation in the country.In a new press release issued here on Friday, the ministry reminds the public of an earlier travel advice issued on March 8.

“In view of the deteriorating security situation in the country, the citizens of the Republic of Cyprus are advised against all travel to Syria”, the press release says. 

In case of emergency, the public may contact the duty officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 99660129, the Crisis Management Department on 22801000 or the Embassy of the Republic in Damascus on +963 11 6130812 for Embassy issues and 6130813 for consular issues.
