Cypriots living abroad will be holding their annual congress in Nicosia at the end of August.
Acting Head of the Overseas and Repatriated Cypriots Division at the Foreign Ministry, Argyros Antoniou, told CNA today the 24th Conference of the Executive Councils of the World Federation for Overseas Cypriots (POMAK) and of the International Coordinating Committee “Justice for Cyprus” (PSEKA) and the Annual Conference of the World Organisation for Young Overseas Cypriots (NEPOMAK) will take place in Nicosia between August 28 and 31.
The meetings will begin officially in the evening of August 28 in the presence of President of the Republic Demetris Christofias, Cyprus Archbishop Chrysostomos, Minister of Foreign Affairs Erato Kozakou – Marcoullis, political party leaders or representatives and other officials.
Speakers will include President Christofias, Marcoullis, Archbishop Chrysostomos, POMAK President Charis Sophoclides, PSEKA President Philip Christopher, NEPOMAK President Christos Karaolis and Cyprus Youth Board Chairman Andreas Vyras.
Antoniou said that NEPOMAK is celebrating its ten year anniversary.
