The Cypriot Golf Society who organise lessons for youngsters every year who had a very good turnout of ten youngsters this year consisting together of boys and girls who after seven weeks of lessons they decided to put their lessons into practise in a well organised tournament recently arranged by the society where they played at the South Hert’s Course.

The tournament was played with fun and enjoyment they all had interesting shots with fairway water splashing everywhere. On the 9th hole, it looked like the wet course conditions had taken its toll on most of the youngsters’ game but for most of the kids it was the first time they played a round of golf.

They were all greeted by their Parents at the 9th green where the smiley young players received their medals; Kieran Georgiou had the best score of the day. The medals were presented by the group’s teacher golfer Michael Cutmore.

The Cypriot Golf Society will again be providing golf lessons for youngsters again next year.

The youngsters who took part in the course were Sophie Tsioupra, John Nicolaou , Alex Panteli, Christopher Panteli, John Lanitis, Christos Lanitis , Kieran Georgiou, Marcos Joannou, Stephano Bussandri, Massimo Symeou, Bambo Makkofaides and Andrie Makkofaides
