AEL Limassol FC qualified last night for the UEFA Champions League play-off stage after beating FK Partizan of Serbia with 1-0.

The Cypriot champions beat the Serbian squad with 1-0 in the first leg of the third qualifying round in Cyprus.

Following last night`s victory, AEL will participate in the draw for the Champions League play-off stage to be held on August 10 in the UEFA headquarters in Nyon Switzerland. Τhe first leg matches are scheduled to take place on August 21-22 and the second leg on August 28-29.
