Pavlos Kontides is doing well at the moment in his second Olympics. Pavlos is representing Cyprus in the sailing laser category and is currently in second  position after the second day after finishing first in today’s two races down in Weymouth, Dorset.

He finished 9th and 4th in yesterdays two races.

Pavlos is currently ranked eleventh in the World However his big potential and improvement was seen in 2009 by finishing 3rd in the senior European Championship in Landskrona, entering the top 10 of world ranking, finishing 5th in the world cup and won two silver medals one in Miami and one in Weymouth where the Olympic Games are being held.
