Swimmer Anna Stylianou took fourth place in the second series of 200 metre freestyle qualifier heats with a time  1.2.87 but failed to qualify for the semi final series of the 200 metres freestyle event. 
She finished  27th of the 37 athletes who participated in qualifying.

Anna Stylianou 27 years old was taking part in her third Olympics and was Cyprus lone swimmer at the London 2012 Olympic games. Anna competed in her first Olympic games back in year 2,000 in Sydney aged just 14 years old.
