Marcos Baghdatis defeated  Japan’s Go Soeda in the first round of the tennis Olympic event event,at Wimbledon Marcos was losing before rain stopped play yesterday but recovered to win 6-7 7-6 6-2 today  and now faces  French No. 16 seed Richard Gasquet who defeated Dutchman Robin Haase tomorrow morning in the last 32.
