AN ARMED robber wearing tights over his head took €260 from a bakery in Nicosia in the early hours of yesterday.

The man entered the bakery in Strovolos at around 3am wielding a knife, and told the employee to hand over the money in the till.

The robber was described as being of thin build, around 1.8m tall and young. He wore a black shirt and trousers, a short woolly hat and tights over his head.
