Brunswick Garage Finalist at Motor Trader Industry Awards 2012
Brunswick Garage shined at the 2012 Motor Trader Industry Awards held last week at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London, in grand surroundings with over 1000 people present. Brunswick Garage were representing the London and the South East region for the National Independent Garage of the Year Award.
Ridgeway Group, Thurlby Motors, Lookers, Land Rover, BMW, and Mercedes were among the winners at the 2012 Motor Trader Industry Awards.
Although Brunswick Garage may have lost to eventual winners Car Care Tetbury from Gloucestershire who have been trading for 34 years, the judges were highly impressed with Andy Savva’s operation.
Brunswick Garage is a truly tremendous set up, 16,000 sq feet of facilities that even a Franchise Dealer would find hard to match. There is not many Independent Garages that come close to what Brunswick Garage can offer. From the warm comfortable and welcoming reception where customers can relax and enjoy a cuppa with a slice of homemade cakes, to the fully equipped workshop boosting the very latest technology and skill offering Dealer Level servicing, repairs, diagnostics and MOT testing.
The workshop consists of 2 MOT bays catering for class 4.5 light and class 7 vehicles, the latest generation 3D wheel alignment system , 8 service bays , 2 tyre fitting bays and 2 diagnostic testing bays. Additionally they have provided their staff with a fantastic staff room, separate wash facilities and even have their own in house training suite.
The judges were impressed that Brunswick Garage really can offer a true alternative to customers for BMW. Mini, Volkswagen, Audi, and recently Mercedes and Land Rover. The judges commented,
“Having dealer level equipment and diagnostics is important to work on today’s modern vehicles, however what set Brunswick Garage apart from the rest was the fact that they recruited Brand Master Technicians for each Brand that they specialise in and continually send these technicians to the Manufacturers Academies for their training and development which is unique in the Independent Sector. Their attitude, skill level, facilities and continued in investment in their staff, equipment and attention to detail is exceptional, they have certainly raised the bar for the Independent Garages”.
What is clear here is Andy Savva’s dedication, honesty, positive attitude and attention to detail placing the customer at the forefront of every process within the organisation hopefully making Brunswick Garage a huge success.
Brunswick Garage owned by Andy Savva who is born in London his father from Kyrenia his mum from Patriki he is well known from his playing days when he played in KOPA not just for the League team but also for Anorthosis and Omonia. He has also been a manager of Omonia Youth teams for several years where he is also a trustee. Andy is also on the committee of the KOPA- KOA Cyprus Youth Development Scheme.
