The London Mayoral elections are taking place on Thursday 3rd May – are you ready to have your say?

Up to one in five Londoners – that’s over 1 million people – who are eligible to vote may not register in time. If you are one of those people, you could miss your chance to choose who represents you in the Greater London Assembly, as well as who is elected as the Mayor of London.

The Mayor and Assembly are responsible for a vast range of issues, including transport, policing the environment, housing and economic development. Decisions made at City Hall go on to have an impact on many aspects of our everyday life in London.

All UK, EU and Commonwealth citizens in London are eligible to vote, but you must be registered on the electoral role. Registering to vote is quick and easy; simply contact your Borough Council or visit www.aboutmyvote.co.uk

The deadline for registering is Wednesday 18th April – make sure nothing stops you from making your voice heard.
