Two women were robbed in their apartment  by masked raiders, police said Sunday.

At around 21:00 Saturday, three masked men entered the apartment in Limassol and robbed the women aged 34 and 29.

According to the complaint, one of three offenders had previously knocked on the door of the apartment and in English asked a question, when the door was opened three people entered the apartment brandishing wooden bats and knuckledusters.

The 34-year-old was grabbed by the throat and warned not to react and the two women forced to stand next to one another and were photographed then told to leave Cyprus the next day.
