A MAN has been injured after high winds caused a tree to fall onto his van in Borehamwood. Aycliffe Road has been closed while Hertfordshire Highways remove the tree, which fell shortly after 11.45am. An ambulance crew from Watford arrived at the scene shortly after 11.56am to help the driver of the white Ford Transit van, who was taken to Barnet General Hospital with an injury to his neck. Aycliffe Road is closed in both directions from the junction with Theobald Street up to the turning on to Rossington Avenue.
