Approximetely 54,538 companies -registered in Cyprus – have until Monday paid the special fee of 350 euro each, which was voted late August by the House of Representatives as part of the government`s first economic package for fiscal consolidation.
In statements to CNA, Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver Spyros Kokkinos, said that state revenue so far from the imposition of the special fee reaches 19.08 million euro.
He also said that the deadline for the payment of the special fee expired at midnight on Monday.
