If the X Factor judges weren’t already feeling the pressure ahead of this weekend’s final, they most certainly are now.
According to The Mirror, Gary, Tulisa and Kelly will be joining their acts for an all-important finals duet.
The paper claims the plan was thought up by bosses after Louis’ final act, Kitty Brucknell, was voted out.
Kelly and Amelia Lily are reportedly set to sing River Deep, Mountain High, Tulisa and Little Mix are mulling over an Alicia Keys mash-up, and Gary and Marcus Collins are as yet undecided on which Take That hit they will be wowing us with.
An insider told The Mirror, “It’s going to be more pressure than ever. The acts will be singing in front of 10,000 people [at Wembley Arena] – and with their mentors.
“The judges will be nervous as well because the song could be the difference between winning and losing.”
It’s all rumour at the moment, of course – there has been no official news from the X Factor people – but we imagine Louis Walsh is looking forward to critiquing his fellow judges as well as the finalists.
Will Gary have the “likeability factor”? Is Tulisa the “perfect popstar”? We’ll just have to wait and find out.
