The toddler whose body was found close to her mother’s on a Paphos beach had been asphyxiated, a post mortem examination has reportedly found.
Coroner Nicolas Charalambos has said that he is awaiting the results of tests to find out just how she was suffocated.
Theodoros Theophanos has been remanded in custody for eight days yesterday in connection with the death of the Moldovan woman Yula Oborok, 24, who was shot four times, and that of her daughter Victoria. The woman was 17 weeks pregnant.
The mother was shot in the head, stomach, chest and hand. Victoria was found 50 metres away face down in the sand.
