The representatives of the two leaders, George Iacovou and Kudret Ozersay will meet next Thursday at 3 pm to continue the discussion and the two leaders will hold a new meeting on Monday, December 12, at 10 am, at the presence of UN Secretary General`s Special Adviser on Cyprus Alexander Downer.

Asked if Downer is holding contacts abroad regarding the Cyprus issue, Buttenheim said that “when he is outside the island he is thinking Cyprus a lot but I can’t tell you where he is right now”. She added that Downer will be back to Cyprus this weekend.
