Police are hunting an armed robber after an €11,000 raid at a Larmaca bank. The knife-wielding man, wearing a stocking mask, struck at the Larnaca Coop bank at 8.50am Monday morning.

An attempted robbery also took place late Sunday night at a Limassol betting shop.
A woman employee of the business was opening the rear door when three masked men accosted her and forced her inside. One was armed with a kitchen knife.
They searched the premises looking for cash, but it had been put away.
She ran outside and called fir help and the men fled empty-handed.
