POLICE arrested around 35 drunk drivers on Friday night and in the early hours of Saturday as part of their campaign to curb road accidents and deaths. 

Around 580 drivers were stopped and checked for the duration of the operation in Nicosia. 

The police also investigated 57 reports for traffic rules violations
