The new third lane of the Nicosia-Limassol highway was officially inaugurated Thursday by President Demetris Christofias.
The multi-million euro project had involved widening the road from the Ayia Varvara junction to the Latsia overpass and it is hoped that it will help to ease chronic traffic congestion, especially at peak periods.
