Peter Andre made some vague threats about opening up a coffee shop back in May, but no one really took him seriously given that most of the stuff that comes out of his face can be dismissed as attention seeking.

Yet here he is at the opening of his very first store called New York Coffee Club inEast Grinstead yesterday.

Wearing the shop’s uniform (which is about as original as the title), Pete served up coffee for the public outside. He probably thought that the crowd was there for him, whereas everyone knows that no one turns down a sample.

Pete has always been a massive fan of coffee, even playing a game of ‘imaginary coffee shop’ on Twitter late until the night when he is bored sometimes.

With his recent album failing to make an impression on the charts, it’s no wonder that Pete is investing money into a more stable career path.

Speaking when the coffee shop plans were first announced earlier this year, Pete’s agent said: “Pete just loves coffee. He’s been planning this for years.

“He has a business head and his strategy is top notch.”

What a very positive quote indeed, it sounds like his shop will be a massive success.

Peter Andre will be on Saturday 12th November 2011 be doing a Christmas lights switch-on and performance at East Kilbride Shopping Centre. 12.30pm
