Stones were thrown at the residence of the referee Christos Elia last night no one was hurt but there was damage made to the building. The Referee has since asked for Police protection to himself, family and his residence. Police are continuing enquiries.

Yesterday the  Cyprus Football Association (CFA) tribunal inflicted a six-month ban on coach Neophytos Larkou for pushing referee Christos Elia during a league match earlier in the season.
