Cyprus Minister of Labour and Social Insurances Sotiroula Charalambous will participate in EU on Employment and Social Policy Council that will take place in Brussels on December 1, 2011. According to an official announcement, the Contribution to the European Council Implementation of the Europe 2020 Strategy in the field of employment and social policy will be the main issue to be discussed in the Council meeting. During her stay in Brussels, Charalampous will hold meeting with the Commissioner responsible for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion Laszlo Andor, the Chairman of FEMM Committee in the European Parliament Mikael Gustafsson, the Chairman of the Employment Committee (EMPL) in the European Parliament Pervenche Beres, the British Labour Minister Chris Grayling and the General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) Bernadette Segol.
