Paul Economides is fighting for the first time in Londons York Hall Saturday December the 3rd for the International Masters Super bantamweight title against Issac Neetey from Africa. This will be Pauls 2nd title fight in 2 months after winning the British Masters Super Bantamweight Championship.! The only British person ever to beat this opponent is Europeans Number 1 Rendall Monroe who managed to win on a points verdict over 12 rounds. This fight has all the attributes to make another great night of boxing!
Paul is born in Chester Parents from Kakopetria and Famagusta and is engaged to Katia Menicou born in Liverpool whose parents are from Dherynia.
Paul started boxing at aged 11 having the first Amateur Fight aged 12, then went on to win the Welsh ABAs, 3yrs running he went to the multi nations to represent Wales where he picked up a Bronze Medal.
At age 21 he decided to turn Professional were he made the move to a highly reputable Professional Boxing Trainer Steve Goodwin at Chester Boxers
