The Larnaca derby yesterday between AEK Larnaca and newly promoted New Salamis ended up in a draw. Under  manager Steve Constantine and against the run of play New Salamis took the lead with a goal scored by Roque just before the break. AEK did not get to  equalise until the 80th minute with a well taken girl scored by Skopelitis.

This defeat leves AEK in fourth place with nine points.Whilst New Salammis are seventh with eight points.

In the other game last night Olympiakos beat Ethnikos one nil with a goal scored by Tsindi.
