Division 2

Arachne 4 Komi Kebir 1: Another surprise after Arachne’s 4-0 drabbing from Maronites last week and Komi Kebir beating Achna 8-3 made Komi Kebir favourites, but it wasn’t to be. It was Arachne’s first win of the season and a deserved one too. The first half  was even and believe it or not no goals. The second half was all action with Arachne scoring their first goal in the 55th minute with Lorenzo followed in the 65th minute with a neat goal

Leo. There was more drama when an Arachne player was sent off with 20 minutes to go leaving them with ten men. Komi Kebir then went on to score from a penalty converted by Jason Lambri. To add to Komi Kebir’s woe Arachne scored a further two goals coming from Leo scoring a second which was a really good goal , he chipped the Komi Kebir keeper from outside the box  and Tom Collier giving Arachne their first win of the season.

Apoel 2 Pantel 1: Apoel 4th and Pantel 5th before the game started and as a result of this score, Apoel have now leaped to second spot.
