AEL 0 New Salamis 4: This was the match of the day between the two top teams in the League table, but it did not live up to its expectations. New Salamis in Mesmerising form trounced AEL 4-0 . Second Division

Pantel 6 KLN 0: It’s great to see KLN back playing . They are the oldest and probably the most successful team in the League. They are starting from scratch with a new vibrant young committee and Jimmy Cattle again the most successful manager in the League back to salvage the Club.

Pantel were the better team, you must appreciate this was KLN’s first game the players were unfit and still getting to know their each others  names. I’m sure Jimmy will put it right. Pantel’s goals came from Israel 3, Own goal and Kanaris 2.

Apoel 9 Achna 0: Whats happened to Achna? Since they won their only 3 pointer on the first day of the season, they have been getting worse. They got a lot of work to do after their 9-0 drabbing from Apoel, whose  goals came from Marvin Samuel 3, Panayiotis Lambrou, Mehmet , Jason Mason, Ulli Cadabak  and Nick Kolias.

Maronites 1 Pendayia 0: Very close, a game that  could have gone either way. Very dynamic and physical and Maronites had a player sent off with 5 minutes to go. Maronites had to wait until the last couple of minutes to score with a goal from Leo Agathangelou.

Anorthosis 5 Komi Kebir 3: Another high scoring game  with Anorthosis going into the break 5 nil up. Anorthosis goals coming from Nathaniel , George Kailos, Lambros 2 one of Lambros goals was  special when he lobbed the Komi Keeper. The other Anorthosis scorer was Danny.  The  goals from Komi Kebir were scored by Jason Lambri 2 who also missed a penalty and Mirauld.

Olympia 3 Arachne 1: Olympia had to battle hard to defeat  Arachne. It was a tight game  Olympia took the lead with a goal from Pratsides  minutes later though  Arachne equalised with  a good strike by  Leo Charalambous. The other two Olympiakos goals  came from Vince Rispoli penalty and Leo Christodoulou.
