An armed robbery took place in Paphos in the  early hours of Monday  with an employee left injured.
The robber, abut 1.8m tall and wearing a hood, jeans and a striped shirt struck the 24-year-old employee with a bottle and grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the till
He fled on foot and the employee was taken to hospital where he was detained for observation.
