Our first “good news” story comes from Panathinaikos Youth v Enfield Rangers in the Under-13 Cup, where referee Alex Bedwell reports: “Nice teams, good adult management and support – setting the correct example. This was the first time ever that the Match Delegates have reported to me, rather than me having to ask for them.”  In the same competition, referee Ray Herb described Kempton Park Colts v Omonia Youth as “an excellent match in which the boys were very sporting and the behaviour of the parents and managers was impeccable. A great advertisement for youth football.”
