ANTONIS Fanieros along with three more individuals were yesterday charged with a total of 28 criminal offences and will appear before Criminal Court on December 2, police spokesperson Michalis Katsounotos said. 

In addition to Antonis Fanieros, 67, also facing charges are Costantinos Hadjiantonis, Andreas Charalambous and Neophytos Moleskis. 

Moleskis was released on bail while the other three are in custody until the trial. 

The four face a number of charges arson and participation in a criminal organisation, the majority of which were allegedly committed between 2010 and this year.   

Fanieros was arrested during a police raid on September 23.
