Justice and Public Order Minister Loucas Louca leaves Sunday for Luxembourg on an official visit to the Court of Justice of the European Union. During his meetings in Luxembourg, Louca will discuss various issues such as “EU citizenship – The asylum status: Recent case-law developments”, “The recognition and execution of rulings as provided by Reg. 44/2001 of the Council and the contribution of the case-law of the Court in the decrease of national procedural obstacles”, and “Cartels in the EU.”

On Wednesday, Louca will visit Krakow to attend an informal meeting of EU Ministers for Family and Gender Equality, during which Ministers will discuss and exchange views on “The Mechanisms for Reconciling Professional and Family Roles for Women and for Men as a Chance to Actively Participate in the Labor Market”.

The objective of the meeting is to exchange opinions on the possibility of signing the Roadmap for Reconciliation between Work, Family and Private Life for Europe 2020.
