Cyprus – Medicrime

Cyprus, along with Germany, France, Austria, Finland and Switzerland, will be the first Council of Europe member state to ratify the International Treaty on counterfeit medical products (MEDICRIME Convention).

Adopted on 8 December 2010, the Convention will be open for signature as of 26 October on the occasion of a high-level conference to be organised in Moscow, Russia.

The Convention establishes as offences the manufacturing, supplying and trafficking of counterfeit medical products.
