Hundreds of Peter Andre fans started queuing at 9pm Tuesday night to meet their idol at Bluewater shopping centre yesterday (Wednesday September 7).

The well-known Cypriot singer was in WHSmith to launch two preschool books – ‘A Happy Birthday Party’ and ‘A New Day at School’ – at the event attended by about 300 people.

Peter Andre said: “I’m really excited to be launching a series of children’s books. Stories play a really important part in my family’s life and I’m delighted to create new story books for kids to share with their mums and dads, brothers, sisters and friends.”

Both books are out now.
