Police are investigating the discovery of unidentified human remains found in the Gerasa community on Monday.
According to the police report, the remains were discovered in a cave by two people gathering snails in the area.
The skull and two bones were inside a metal box along with a love letter and 36 Cypriot pounds.
State pathologist Nicholas Charalambous examined the remains but has yet to make a statement.
