Noble Energy personnel were taken by helicopter to the platform on Block 12 on Monday, where drilling for hydrocarbons is set to start.

The helicopter, used by Noble Energy to transport personnel, took off from the helicopter pad at the new port of Limassol.

Houston-based company Noble Energy has a concession to explore for hydrocarbons in an offshore field in Cyprus` EEZ, south of Cyprus, known as Block 12
