A TEENAGER awarded a coveted place at a prestigious performing arts college has started her studies.

Following months of auditions, Zoe Panteli, 16, of Hawkswood Crescent in Chingford, was one of 60 chosen from 1200 hopefuls to attend The Brit School in Croydon.

A former pupil of Heathcote Secondary School, Miss Pandeli, attended the Brat Pack Theatre School in Buxton Road, Chingford since the age of five.

Founder and director, Carole Burgess Amphlett, said: “We are very proud of Zoe’s achievement and very much look forward to watching her progress.
