Drama this morning when two masked armed robbers raided a branch of the Laiki Bank in Nicosia they also shot a civilian in the leg when trying to get away. The robbers are believed to be foreign as they spoke with broken Greek. The Robbers did get cash and fled in a white car Toyota Corolla number plate HKH 710.

The injured civilian is in a stable condition in Nicosia Hospital.

Police used a helicopter in the chase to locate the thieves.
