Apoel got three points last night by winning for the first time this season by beating Alki 3-1. Giving them encouragement to beat the Russian team Zenit on Tuesday in the European Champions League group stage.

Apoel’s first goal came in the 3rd minute scored by Oliveiram they scored again in the 60th minute with a goal from Mario Elia.

In the 83rd minute Alki were able to get a goal back with Fitouleskou, before Solari scored a 3rd for Apoel giving them a comfortable 3 – 1 win
