A young AEL follower lit a cracker at the Omonia v AEL game which exploded in his hands and had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Also trouble erupted during  the  match which was delayed for 15 minutes when AEL fans lit flares. The referee theron decided not to continue the game at half time after advice from the Police therfore abandoning the match.

In the other two games played yesterday Ethnikos drew 1-1 with Anagenissis Alves scoring for Ethnikos and Pouris for Anagenissis.  Anorthosis beat Enosis Neon Paralimniou 1-0 with an own goal putting them at the top of the table.
