Police are investigating claims by a 59-year-old man that he was abducted and robbed in Limassol yesterday.
He said that he met three men in the town for a business deal but was struck unconscious and tied and gagged.
He claims that he was then forced at knifepoint to issue two cheques totalling €62.000.
He was then dumped outside the Limassol General Hospital where he was detained for treatment
