Minister of Finance Charilaos Stavrakis said that if the right measures are taken then the economic crisis would be manageable.

Stavrakis was speaking after a meeting which President of the Republic Demetris Christofias held with the trade unions of the state employees and semi governmental organisations PASIDI, SEK and PEO.

The leaders of PASIDI, SEK and PEO in their statements said that decisions on the package of measures in a bid to consolidate public finances will be taken next Tuesday in a meeting with the Minister of Finance and later on with President Christofias.
