No power cuts are expected on Tuesday, Director of the Transmission System Operator (TSO), Christos Christodoulides told CNA today.

Power cuts are not likely to happen today, as was the case in the past three days, Christodoulides noted, provided that no unpredicted breakdowns occur and weather temperatures remain moderate.

Power supply conditions, he explained, have not changed in recent days, adding that people should continue saving energy.

Daily power demand was limited, at around 700 MW, Christodoulides said, due to moderate weather conditions and the holiday period.
