The Council of Ministers has decided to provide financial support to the families of the thirteen victims of last month’s deadly explosion at a naval base.
The Cabinet decided to support the families of civil servants killed at “Evangelos Florakis” naval base blast on July 11, by allocating to them the amount of 2,795,000 euros.
Moreover the Council of Ministers decided to support the families of the soldiers who were killed by the blast, with the total amount of 285,000 euros.
Announcing the decision, Government Spokesman Stephanos Stephanou said that 95,000 euros will be given to the spouse and each child of those killed, including the unborn child of firefighter Spyros Tantis, as soon as the baby is born.
